3D Gunstar Heroes is a great port but I'll take an original game over a port so Gunstar Super Heroes gets my vote although I do think Gunstar Heroes is a better game.

3D Gunstar Heroes is a great port but I'll take an original game over a port so Gunstar Super Heroes gets my vote although I do think Gunstar Heroes is a better game. I realized after voting that 3D Gunstar Heroes is a 3DS port and not a remake like I had been led to believe. I might have to reconsider my vote. But a port IS the original game, right? If it runs on the same engine as the genesis original, doesn't that mean it's the same game? So then why not vote for the port of Gunstar Heroes if you prefer it over Super? |

If this weren't handheld wars and the Genesis version was in the equation I would vote for it. I much more appreciate getting a new game rather than a port of an old one. As good of a port as 3D Gunstar Heroes is, it doesn't have any new content so if I revisit the game I do so on a console. |

Gunstar Super Heroes has some gimmicky stages that I don't enjoy much, but brings something new and I think it's a better fit as a portable game. The Game Gear port is quite impressive, by the way. Certainly the best they could do with that hardware. |
