Wow, this version looks really good. It seems to greatly expand on the arcade original. Also, "Girlfriends come and go, but Donkey Kong is forever" is a quote we should be using all the time.

And the Game Boy version is your favorite version? This is my favorite version. I loved this game when it came out. The Super Game Boy additions were cool, but the game itself is pretty awesome. It plays well, and the new levels make it extremely fun and challenging to play. Since I grew up with the Atari 2600 version, this one clearly made me happy. |

I know I've played a Donkey Kong game except for the 2600 version on the Game Boy, but it's noy this one.

The arcade game is fantastic, but yeah. I actually like this one even better. The arcade looks brutally hard though judging from the documentary The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. Not brutal but yeah, definitely made to eat your quarters. The GB one looks easier in comparison - but then, it's made to be played for much longer sessions. |
