I'm just going to assume we're talking about Street Fighter 1 because it's impossible for me to go into any kind of detail about every game in the series in a single post. It would also be a shame if we only ever got one game of the week thread for Street Fighter. I just want to reiterate that I totally agree that series discussions should only be a thing if we are allowed to talk about the individual games as well. This logical can be applied to stand alone expansions and remakes; they deserve their own discussion thread and it's totally unfair to talk about the original game but not be allowed to discuss its remake or expansion. Therefore I'm only interested in suggesting a game to discuss if I know we will be able to have a separate thread for its remake or expansion, and since Balder isn't allowing that, I've decided that I am no longer going to suggest games for the weekly discussion series anymore. |

You're definitely allowed to discuss individual games in fact we did that to all of the main Street Fighter games, 1-5. Stop trying to alter the narrative because what you're saying is downright lies at this point. |

By the way, that scheme difference between Street Fighter 1 (U.S.) Vs. Street Fighter 1 (Japan) is massive it makes a whole new world.
The game is basically downgraded with normal controls, but hitting buttons that measure the strength of your hit makes the game infinite times more fun and interesting, the way it is supposed to be.
