Two in a day easy. It doesn't seem like I have a lot to do these days. So here's Vice Academy: "Another spoof/rip-off of Police Academy. It is not as bad as Hamburger: The Motion Picture, but honestly few things are. But holy shit, why does this series have almost as many movies as the real Police Academy? It is not like this was good enough to warrant so many sequels. Usually I hate gender-swapped movies, and this is one of them. I do not like it, but at least they do something "unique" with it. So here every police officer is a chick except for random dude. A complete reversal from Police Academy in other words. And they are all hookers for some reason, or they seem to be hookers at least. They have a lot of hooker scenes with these hooker police officers arresting street hookers. It is weird I know. It has some fun scenes, and it is certainly watchable most of the time, but damn there are certainly some incredibly cringy scenes in here too, especially the over the top sex scenes with Linnea Quigley. I like her as an actress, but she did not do much for me here honestly. I would hate to see any of the sequels to this. The Police Academy series got incredibly stale towards the end of its life, I would hate to see how stale Vice Academy 6 is." 1.5/5 pretty lame if you ask me, still entertaining though. I wonder how Spirit Bomb would've liked this one? It seems like it's straight up his alley.

Dollman. I was semi-looking forward to this as Tim Thomerson is awesome, but I've heard from other sources that this is a really bad movie. It ended up being alright for what it's worth:
"This movie opens so awesomely. Tim Thomerson is really one of the best actors in low-budgeted movies. It is a shame he never got a big role in a big movie because he rocks. The opening reminds me heavily of Robocop, and that is awesome. The over the top gore and the dystopian setting is all there. I wish the rest of the movie was like that, because then I would be deciding whether or not this would be a 5/5 movie. Unfortunately the whole dollman concept is lame. It could have been decent if it was executed well, but with this small budget it was impossible I guess. They never use forced perspective or create cool sets. Instead almost every scene is shot separately and the few times Dollman is in the same scene as a human, he is poorly super-imposed into the frame. It is quite jarring to look at. I do enjoy it very much as I love the setting and Thomerson, but it is not a very good movie unfortunately. I would rather watch Trancers." 2.5/5

Another one watched, Savage Streets:
"Honestly I do not know why this is rated as average as it is. To me this is pretty tame and generic. The first hour of the movie is a high school drama played by people who are much older than high schoolers. Like it is not even like they tried. Some of them look like they might be 30. When we finally get some vigilante action, it is so slow paced that I only wish for the movie to end. There is nothing super wrong about the movie, but it does not do anything right either. People basically watch this because of all the nudity, which is why it is a CGR recommendation." 1.5/5 this one just bored me for the most part. I mean, the nudity was good, but that does not make for a good movie.

Apparently I forgot to watch The Final Sanction. I'll watch it some time later. Watched Kiss Animalize Live Uncensored instead:
"I have never cared much for Kiss as a band. It is not like I hate them or anything, but I have always seen them as that rock band. So when I saw that this was on the Mega list, I thought: well, I guess I just gotta listen and watch through this thing to be over with it. However, it was pretty damn good. Kiss is more awesome than I had initially thought. Their songs rock and are more catchy than I have given them credit for. It must have been quite the experience attending this concert. They do give it their everything. I am still not convinced it is the best band ever, but I was surprised in a good way." 3.5/5

Went back to watch The Final Sanction, and it is one of Prior's best, no doubt:
"Besides Deadly Prey and Deadliest Prey, this is my favorite movie from director David A. Prior. Those movies I like from him are the ones that do not get to complicated as they tend to fall apart then. Here we get a one on one death match between everyone's favorite Cold War countries, the US and the Soviet Union. Prior draws heavily inspiration from Rocky IV as they could not have cast anyone that looked more like Dolph Lundgren. The film is super macho and over the top, just like I want them when it comes from Prior. He has such a unique style of movies, that it is impossible to attribute them to any other filmmaker. He takes his action movies very seriously, and it is hilariously entertaining. Even so, Prior manages to slip in some funny one-liners such as: "What do they feed you? Americans". It is stuff like this that makes this a gem of a movie. Cult classic extraordinaire." 4/5.

Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park, ugh:
"This was horrible. It has the cast of Kiss sure, but has it really anything to do with them? It has some of their songs, but the story is so boring. Some guy making robots and Kiss having super powers? Was just waiting for this to be over honestly. I do not really have anything else to say about it." 1/5 boring as fuck.

I'm going to save most of the horror films to October and blaze through them then, so for now I'll try to watch all of the non-horror movies I have left. So here's The Decline of Western Civilization: The Metal Years:
"Wow this documentary was really surprising. I am not a die hard metal fan or anything, but the way this documentary was conducted really gave me a great insight into how artists in this genre ponders about everything in life from personal life to their career choice. What is very impressive is how they got all of these famous people and groups to be interviewed because there are some very big names in here like Ozzy Osbourne, KISS, Motorhead etc. just to name a few. In addition to all of these super famous people, they also interview upcoming metal artists and how they reflect on life in similar regards to someone who has made it, and that is my favorite part because these people have the all or nothing mentality that I am sure is needed to succeed. Unfortunately, I cannot stop thinking that most of these upcoming artists will never make it. The documentary has some awesome tracks as it is just songs and clips from concerts from these huge talents. Really damn good, I would never have expected this." 4/5

One of my nitpicks about this documentary.

Had some extra time to squeeze in another watch, Vinnie Vincent Metal Tech:
"When I read what this "film" was, I thought it was going to be dreadfully boring since I do not even play guitar, but when it began I was surprised it was just this guy shredding like crazy. Unfortunately my joy was cut short as it turned into what I feared after all, just a guitar guide... Why am I forced to watch this? This is down there with the Linnea Quigley work out video. It is just an instructional video with some extra showmanship. Needed to watch this since it is on the CGR Mega List." 1/5 one of the most excruciatingly boring ones I've watched so far.

Another Hulk Hogan movie, and this one was much worse than No Holds Barred, here's Thunder in Paradise:
"Thunder in Paradise starts of well with a cool action sequence including a very high-tech boat. However, this is only in place to fool you into thinking this movie is going to be enjoyable because after those brief minutes of action the movie dies slowly but surely under all those awful and boring talking scenes. Is this really what the movie was about? Take a look at that cover art; a bare-chested Hulk Hogan raising his arms in victory in front of an explosion and a high-tech spy boat while having a hot babe next to him and winning the heart of a young boy. That is what the movie should have been about. Instead we get this terrible soap opera that is so incredibly boring. Finally, towards the end we get some more action scenes, but for some reason they are much worse than the first action sequence. The props are ridiculously low budget and it could not fool a five year old. All crates and chairs break with no impact, like if they were made of spaghetti sticks and good intentions. What was this movie even about? Hulk Hogan has a cool boat, his daughter has this treasure map necklace and then they find the treasure and lose it? Eh... not good." 1.5/5

Ot could've been a TV series about more action oriented events, but instead it's just a soap opera. And if it was a pilot, why was there made 2 sequels?
