Just in time before the one year anniversary of this thread: "The Running Man is a very fun and over the top movie. Arnold Schwarzenegger has a bunch of one-liners as usual and he is pretty good in this as he is in most things. It is so weird that this is based on a Stephen King book as it is far from what I would expect from him as a writer. I can definitely see the influence The Running Man has had on TV game shows. Still, I would not say that this is a fantastic movie. It has a pretty good premise, and I applaud it for that, but the film is just entertaining and not much more than that. It gets the job done so to speak. Glad I finally found it streaming somewhere, and that was on Tubi TV in case anyone is wondering." 3.5/5 It's good.
Now why didn't we ever make that Porno of the Week idea come to fruition?
3.5? That is some weak ass shit, man. Running Man is a total five. Not only did it star Arnold, which makes t a 5 by itself, but it inspired Smash TV, one of my personal all time favorites. |
