This is really hard one to pick. The Game Boy edition was made by Nintendo, and it has cool little intermissions with Mario. I have a soft spot for that one, because you can tell that Nintendo's people put a lot of heart into it. Qix on the Lynx, on the other hand, is really colorful and really fun. I don't know how to vote!

This is an all time classic according to many handheld fans. I personally never played it, but I didn't know of the Atari version, so I'm voting for the black & white version.

The best thing about these abstract old puzzle games is arguably the far out artwork they got on their covers; the little square you move and the simple lines of pixels chasing you are suddenly a spaceship in the world of Tron or a giant mecha pencil-dildo being chased by viruses IN SPACE[with reverb]!!
I don't even care about the game at that point, they'd be more than worth buying just for the covers to have on a shelf as display pieces. The puzzle videogame is just a minor bonus at best.

Yeah, I've tried quite a few game like this, back to the oldest being Thin Ice on Intellivision, and I've enjoyed them all quite a bit. I'd say Thin Ice and one I played on PlayStation (the name eludes me) are my favorites. I haven't played Qix on Game Boy or Lynx specifically, but I voted for Lynx because it just looks so much better with colors, and the animated cutscenes on Game Boy to me are the type of novelty that wears off instantly after I've seen just one or two, they didn't do it for me at all.

Apparently it was on the 5200. What is more portable than that system? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . EVERYTHING.
