To give another culture's point of view: around here, San Andreas was a cultural phenomenon and is still seen as one of the defining things from the 2000s, everyone played and loved it (even casual gamers). Not coincidentally, Everybody Hates Chris is probably the most famous show from that decade, so it seems we love stories about black people who are totally broke. Full cultural identification in play. So I'm kinda inclined to agree with San Andreas being my favourite, too... |

I would just like to chime in on the derailed discussion and say that I prefer San Andreas to Vice City. SA has by far the best variety in the series, and overall my favorite map as well. Vice City was good for its time, but, outside of the missions, doesn't appeal to me anymore as a sandbox game. So I agree with Balder and cobretti |
