Can't get fired if you don't even work for the guy. Still, please clear your desk out by the end of the day. I don’t want to have to get security involved.

I was going to go to Area 51, but I think I may just go see this, although it probably won't be the same day because I'm celebrating my birthday which is September 20th.

Yeah unfortunately something came up for me so I can’t enjoy Rambo First Blood Part 5 opening night but I will be seeing the first showing the next day. I have to show Stallone my unwavering support.

Does that include Rocky V? Even Stallone himself has no support for Rocky V, therefore it can be excluded from the list of movies you support.

RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART 5. THE COBRETTI REVIEW
Finally, after months of anticipation, I was able to check out the new Rambo movie. You might hear bad reviews from lame ass critics and you might hear our own Balder slag on it, but don’t believe them. If you’re a Stallone fan or a Rambo fan or an action aficionado, you need to see this movie.
One thing this movie does a lot different then pervious Rambo movies does is story building. It takes a good while for this one to get to the action. Probably this is because this is a smaller, more personal adventure for Rambo. But, once the action starts, we are treated to a crescendo of violence that might even surpass Rambo: First Blood Part 4. Rambo is dispatching people in brutal fashion and we are treated to a nice amount of gore as a result. The body count gets pretty high at the end when Rambo starts killing everyone. There were here other people in the movie who ultimately I didn’t care about because they aren’t Rambo or Col. Trautman. Speaking of which, there was no mention of Trautman or really any other reference to the previous movies, which gave this one a disconnected feeling from the rest of the series. Much of Rambo’s time is spent on his ranch, the one we saw at the end of Rambo: First Blood Part 4. Other than Rambo himself, that’s the big link to the larger franchise. This isn’t a problem, but it’s something I thought about as the movie was playing. I’m not quite sure where I would rank it with the rest of the series. It may well end up being my least favorite Rambo. That still probably makes it better than 99% of all movies ever made, however. Rambo always rules, and this one is worthy of the Rambo name. This is a 5/5 all time Cobretti classic that I look forward to owning on blu ray to complete my Rambo collection. Thank you Stallone for bringing him back. Here’s hoping for Rambo: Last Blood Part 2, aka Rambo First Blood Part 6.

Awesome review of the new Rambo movie.
You might hear bad reviews from lame ass critics. Great review. I haven't seen any bad reviews as of yet. That's probably because I don't listen to lame ass critics.

It's unfortunate that this is the lowest rated Rambo movie by the public. I haven't read anything about it except cobretti's review just now. I had hoped this would be the Rocky Balboa (VI) of the Rambo series in that it would go back to the original's roots and end the series with a perfect movie.

I had hoped this would be the Rocky Balboa (VI) of the Rambo series in that it would go back to the original's roots and end the series with a perfect movie. Honestly I don’t know what people’s problem with the movie is. I guess opinions are getting colored by the mainstream reviewers who have always hated the series in the first place. It does feel a bit different than the other Rambos but it’s still pretty fun. I’ve heard it described as “racist” or somehow pro Trump since it shows shots of a border fence and the bad guys are Mexican cartel goons but the movie offers no actual commentary on immigration. I guess having Rambo drive his truck though some barbed wire was commentary enough. In in all seriousness, I enjoyed Rambo 5 immensely and will probably go back next weekend to see it again. I also think Stallone and Rambo fans will like it too. I wouldn’t say it’s totally “back to its roots” but as I said before, it is a more personal story and spends more time on storytelling than the last couple.
