Beastmaster rules. It’s hands down the best of the Conan clones. The action is cool, the beasts are cool, and the breasts are exposed. Tanya Roberts had a hot bod with breasts nude and exposed which I found most pleasurable.
I must apologize to Dan. When I threw this movie in the hat, I claimed it had bush in it. Even though I saw it not too long ago, my memory failed me. This movie does not have bush in it. I must have been thinking of a different movie with bush in it.
Anyway 5/5. Amazing movie.

Oh, I remember this one! I loved it when I was a kid. I think the tv channel might have edited the nudity out of it, so, cobretti, my current 5/5 rating is just for the action - the nudity part will have to get a separate rating on a rewatch. |

Finally took the time to watch this movie. It's one of the longest movies you've chosen so far cobretti. You guys rate everything 5/5 (you know there are other ratings right? Well you're going to see one in this review). *queues review: "A movie that fully embodies the 80's fantasy theme, for better and worse. It is definitely filled with nostalgia for anyone who grew up in this period. Even though I did not grow up during that time, I still see why people have a special place in their hearts for it, even though it is very outdated. The action scenes are pretty much jump cuts, close-ups and outdated choreography. Nothing special to see in those departments. The beasts, or animals, that our hero can communicate with are perhaps the greatest thing with this movie. An eagle, a black tiger and a pair of ferrets? Sign me up. The ferret scenes are pretty cute, but the tiger scenes are awful. It looks super cool since it is a spray painted black tiger, but the action and reaction are (almost) never in the same shot, meaning the tiger and cast were shot separately (naturally due to safety), but it looks so bad and boring to me when they cheapens their movie this way. This movie heavily reminds me of Conan the Barbarian, and rightly so since it is inspired by the Conan series. But really, are there any reasons not to just watch Conan instead of this?" 2.5/5 One of the better CGR recommendations. |

Balder I noticed you omitted the nude breasts in your review? Did they not tantalize you? Did you not enjoy the nude breasts? As for the 5/5’s, I’m not going to suggest a movie that doesn’t kick ass.
