You just come off as bitter and jealous when you go on these rants with not even a single fact, just your impressions. You aren't even open for discussion as all of the answers in the poll are just negatives. Instead of calling this a discussion, call it a rant, because that's what this is. The majority of my high school bullies were the narcissistic, good-looking popular kids & the jocks, so is it really that irrational for me to have a natural hatred for people like her? It's not irrational no, but is it healthy? Yes, it sucks to see good-looking people seemingly get everything in life for free, but being jealous and hostile towards them doesn't help out yourself at all. What does help out yourself is being open-minded and reflected. Maybe I sound a little bit like a 70's hippy, but you'll get further in life with better attitudes, not with grudges and unprovoked hatred. |

Oh wow, looking back, I can't even begin to see how wrong I was with this thread.
First of all, I want to say that my opinion on this woman (Gisele) has changed; I no longer view her as inherently evil as I ignorantly did before. After doing a lot of introspecting I've come to realize that it's highly important NOT to judge people for their fame, reputation or how they look, but to judge them for their actions and intentions. I have come to realize that Gisele clearly does not have bad intentions like certain other people out there. Is she narcissistic? Perhaps. Is she a jerk? Possibly. But is she a bad person? I don't think so.
I have opened my eyes and realized that the response I took towards her in this thread was completely ignorant and unconstructive. Who cares how she looks? And if she's a jerk for her beauty then that's ok, that's kind of to be expected with woman in society. But as long as she's not a zealot advocating genocide of atheists or a belligerent pro-military nut job trying to destroy the rainforest, then she's not doing anything wrong. In other words, as long as she's not advocating hate, then she's ok, right?
My hateful comments here reminds me of the way the media destroyed the lives of innocent good-looking young celebs like Justin Bieber. I...am just mortified by the fact that I stooped to the same level of evil as our tabloids. How could I have been so ignorant, hateful and useless???
Gisele may not be a very nice lady, but I don't thin she was deserving of the contempt or treatment I gave her in this thread. Yeah, good looking people tend to be self-centered jerks, but then, all of my most prolific school time abusers were blocky, neanderthalic christian zealots and ugly rednecks, so I think it's safe to say that she's not out to harm anyone unlike these ugly assholes, who were just out to destroy anyone who stood in their way or "threatened" their "quality of life". I have learned that outward beauty isn't a sign of inner evil, and I should have known better.
So yeah, I was so wrong here. I would argue that most good looking people are more deserving of protection than some ugly people, like that POS christian zealot who publicly attacked me throughout school.
