My favorite Canadian YouTuber has a lot to say about the delay. I am cautiously optimistic, since this looks like they care more about the optics rather than the project. If they TRULY cared, then wouldn't they have listened to focus groups in the first place? Artists are constantly taken advantage of, and that is why most of the world's animation is outsourced. So I get his point here. I just hope this is more or less the reality of the situation rather than a PR stunt.

What a huge difference a character design can do! It's certainly the exact same movie underneath it all, but now I'm a bit curious to see it.

My kids and my wife watched it yesterday on her day off from work, and they had a lot of fun watching it. I'm glad to hear that a video game movie was done well!
