Number five is also not true. Ok, so after some thought on our government, allow me to present you with my observations: -America had no universal health care before Obama took office, unlike other 1st world countries. Trump is already working on getting rid of it (Obamacare) -Our government doesn't cover the costs of recycling our electronics, unlike other first world countries like Australia and Norway-Our railways are much less extensive than Europe's and you need to own a car to get around if you don't live in a big city -(crap, I forgot some points I wanted to mention and my laptop battery is almost out! I'll have to finish this post later...) TO BE CONTINUED Just wanted to add something. |

Well even if our government does spend a lot of money, it doesn't benefit our citizens. Don't you get government benefits? Not the kind I want, unfortunately. The financial support I get merely keeps me off the streets. If I lived in a country like, say, Norway or Great Britain, I probably wouldn't even need it, since I wouldn't even need to own a vehicle to get around; that alone would save me a large sum of money per year. |

Two more facts I recently learned about:
Fact 7: Americans consume more meat than citizens of any other country on Earth (SOURCE: TV documentary I watched recently)
Fact 8: America has the greatest national debt of any country on Earth and each american citizen shares over $28,000 of the debt (SOURCE: Guiness Book of World Records 2008 Edition).

Not surprising. My source is from 2008, so it's only got worse since then. I'm not sure what our economy is doing so wrong but it's not going to end well. Kinda easy actually, government spends too much money. It's no wonder our military is so ridiculously over-funded. And to think, tens of thousands of innocent middle eastern and vietnamese civilians have been murdered at the hands of our soldiers, for no reason. It's a god damned waste for both sides. |
