FACT 14: 20% of all the salt that is mined in the world is used just to defrost roads in the United States during the winter (source: Ripley's Believe it or Not!)
What a huge waste. Just think: If America primarily used trains instead of automobiles for public transportation, then all that salt wouldn't have to be mined at such a senseless rate. I mean, countries like Russia, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Ukraine all have cold winters too, but their demand for road salt is lower because there are less paved roadways and cars. Go figure.

They spray that shit on the roads pretty much every night when it snows. A shame that it ruins cars in the long run, but I guess I kind of like it a bit more now since it's been featured on one of your rants. Every time I drive on salty roads now, I'll be a tad more grateful for the salt. If only we had a way of extracting the salt from you we would have an endless supply of salt. Then we could salt our roads every day of the year.

I just remembered this great summery ASAP Science made about Americans:
A must-watch! They list some points that I haven't even mentioned yet, like:
-Americans have more sex annually than citizens of any other country
-America produces more pornography than any other country (roughly 75% of the world's total!)
-Americans drive the longest distance annually, more than citizens of any other country on Earth (climate change, anyone?)
-America has the most car crashes annually of any country on Earth
-American's produce 40% of the world's total waste (AKA garbage)
-Americans only rank 42nd in overall global longevity despite America being by far the wealthiest country on Earth.

Some U.S. fun facts about state fruits, vegetables and berries North Carolina has two state berries. One for state “blue” berry and one for “red” berry. Their state “blue” berry is blueberry and their state “red” berry is Strawberry Strawberry is actually classified as a fruit Delaware, Louisiana and Oklahoma all got this right by having Strawberry as their state fruit. Ohio’s state vegetable is Watermelon, even though it’s a fruit. Ohio along with Tennesee also has Tomato as their state fruit which is correct But Arkansas couldn’t decide so they put tomato as both their state fruit and vegetable Hope you found this fun and interesting. A fact about U.S.A. just like pretty much any other country in the world is that elections can always be manipulated with fraudulent voting.
They already have practice doing it to Bernie twice, so this is not new.
To be fair, I do believe it happened with Al Gore as well, so I guess it is pretty much pay back at this point.
The way the mainstream agenda acts is such that it wouldn't surprise me if something happens to Biden down the line, even non dramatic low key, that could put Harris upfront.
It's just a predictable bad script that is laughable.

Since I recently stayed in the hospital...
Spongebob cleverly alluding to America's healthcare crisis (this was a 2005 or 2006 episode I think). As a lower class citizen I totally feel this. The sad thing is that, in reality, nothing has changed; it's 2021 and there is still no universal healthcare. I mean, there WAS briefly universal healthcare at one point, but then Trump came along....
