I'm not the biggest fan of this movie, I can't recite it verbatim like others, but whenever I watch it I'm impressed by how good it really is. I gave it a 5/5 for that reason. It's not my favorite movie, but it's very well made. Great characters, great writing. And the Delorean is a sweet ride.

I thought this was universally loved. It's the tightest screenplay ever made.

I love the second movie the most, then the animated series on second fav place, then the third movie on third and on fourth and last place I hold this, the first movie, but that doesn't mean I don't love this movie as well, it's still a well earned 5/5 from me, it's just that the movies and animated series that followed it all appeal to me even more in subjectively biased ways.

Balder The body count was really low. And no fucking nude breasts either. At least in Howard the Duck, we got to see Lea Thompson in her fucking panties. 3/5

Doesn't go any higher than that.

You always have weird priorities when it comes to movie series.

One of the things that make this movie one of the best of all time is that it actually succeeds at predicting a major event in history for actual REAL LIFE.
It tells the public what was going to happen, in a period short enough for people that saw the movie to actually see it unfolding within their lifespan.
That alone is incredibly fantastic. It is hard to beat that, specially because that is the very exact theme of the movie:

stratogustav That vid was reading too much into things. I was nuts about Part 2 when I was a kid. However, there were two Deloreans in Part 3...(proceeds to ramble on about a 2 Deloreans theory)

What happens is that the film is so blatantly obvious on the topic that everything about it is basically spelled in capital letters. The amount of coincidences are so insanely overwhelming that most people prefer to overlook the whole thing because it messes with their reality. That's actually a smart thing to do, specially considering that putting any effort into trying to change what already happened feels futile in nature.

It's not supposed to be taken seriously, man. Watch it for comedy and it's very entertaining!

It's not supposed to be taken seriously, man. Watch it for comedy and it's very entertaining! It's actually legit. It is indeed hilarious though, and tragic. You know what other coincidence is hilarious, and tragic? The kids reciting the writings they were given on a photocopy at the school in Florida where Bush and the CIA were in, while the event happened:
