Spirit Bomb - I don't know, man... It probably won by style alone: I guess I always liked that "gritty city at night" style. But the gameplay itself felt just a bit more fluid, just enough to give SoR an edge. Curiosity: SoR was the first Sega Genesis game I've ever seen and played (around 1992), I was floored by it coming from my NES. So maybe it also wins by nostalgia. scipioafricanus - Don't make me choose! This is my personal Sophie's Choice (without all the bad movie around it). I just can't decide which one of them is my favorite Sega girl.
