That's a matter of taste. I would say the biggest problem they had was bad marketing. The Wii U is a very good quality system. Not good for 3rd party support but honestly no one wants to play 3rd party on a Nintendo console. We buy Nintendo for the first party stuff, and in that regard I'm very satisfied with their product.

Personally I think the WiiU has the weakest library of any Nintendo home console, at least on par with the Wii. At least it doesn't have an atrocious motion control gimmick, though.

I would say the Wii U has the core titles library, the ones that matter. While the Wii has those and everything else.
Some motion games are important to have, like the sports/party games, they simply play better with motion, so I'm happy Nintenro introduced those in the Wii, then everything else plays better with a normal controller, so I'm happy they went back to those as well.

Wow was this wrong. I really like the HD rumble, but the controllers are too damn expensive. I'd like to get an official pro controller with the HD rumble, but $69 US is way too much. I may have to get a Hori Controller. Mark seemed to like it anyways.

Only $10 more than the PS4 controllers were at launch and it has like 10x the battery life.

I actually don't really mind the dog bone controller. I might buy a pro controller some day, but the dog bone controller does everything that I want it to do.

It is worth it. My son prefers the dog bone controller, since his hands are smaller. The Pro Controller is awesome.
