Games like this get cancelled. Thank God this never came out on the Dreamcast.

The Flintstones, and Jetsons games were quite good in the Super Nintendo. Specifically the Taito ones, Treasure Of Sierra Of Madrock, and Invasion Of The Planet Pirates.
People were actually expecting good sequels, but if the sequels were not going to be as good as their predecessors, then it was likely a good call to not continue releasing them.
Ocean had some bad ones, and maybe these ones were going to be more like those, hence Sega cancelled them.
In fact the Ocean Flintstone game for the Genesis physical copy was cancelled as well, and it only received a digital release through the Sega channel, probably for the same reasons.
