I know this isn't strictly a gaming discussion, but since Boogie is a gaming person, I'll still post it here. I've never watched that much of his channel, but I've always seen him as a good YouTuber. Despite hearing about some alleged controversies, I never let that taint my view of him. However, after reading this mega thread, I'm convinced this guy is a huge asshole, and it pains me to watch him play the victim all the time. I'm not trying to be the next Maestro or anything, but I simply thought this was way to interesting and provoking. Here's the thread with all the details and links. The one with Boogie recalling his first girlfriend and laughing and cursing her was the one that made me think that this guy was beyond redemption. old.reddit.com/r/SamandTolki/comments/ajzm5h/the_hidden_truth_boogie_doesnt_want_you_to_know/

Saw some people reacting to him, didn't know why. Supposedly his problem was giving into the mob?

I'm not trying to be the next Maestro or anything LOL! ^^^ About the topic, I don't know what the story is, but I heard he was talking trash of Anita Sarkeesian, which is something any reasonable person would do. SJWs are literally a hate group, I saw a woman saying she hates the guy from The Witcher III just because of how he looks, and it was easy to tell it had to do with the populous group he represents. If that isn't racism, and sexism, I don't know what is. So I don't see anything wrong with exposing those people as the kind of psychopaths they are, and saying a few bad words to them is totally understandable knowing the type of hate they promote. In terms of personal disputes towards relationships, you can never know. A lot of people are very manipulative, and twist things around to appear as the victim. When women are the ones doing the twisting it is a lot harder to notice it because being the weaker sex gives them a false underdog appearance, but we all know they always have the upper hand simply by the way the system is setup. Under the right context it becomes more understandable when foul language was justifiably utilized by the accused, however it is better to never go this route because most people won't be able to see the big picture, and if you're already getting accused of something, the harder it will be for people to understand. That said, he can still be guilty of whatever he is getting accused of, but we cannot be impartial about coming into that conclusion, specially when we know there are crowds of people that don't even care if someone is guilty or not, they just want to make someone the villain, and if this person happens to be notorious the better for them, and the less likely they will try to be fair about it. Personally I avoid these problems by letting go, and not trying to fix anything. If an evil woman has the devil in her heart, I let her be, and find someone else immediately, as if she never even existed in the first place. These are things easy to spot, and all you have to do is walk away. There's no reason to make any additional commentaries to those situations because it is improper for a man to do so, and you gain nothing, just move on, there is an infinite supply of women, and there is no reason to stress over anyone, life is too short for fussing, and fighting my friend.

Welcome to America, where every other citizen suffers from either severe personality disorders or addiction of some kind. On this subject, America is known for two things in particular: narcissism and obesity. Being the entertainment capital of the world means that the narcissism of Hollywood is spread throughout every corner of society here in America. Many of the kids I knew in school aspired to become famous celebrities; all of those kids lacked empathy for people around them, too. Narcissism is such a deadly thing for society. As for obesity, it's a common sign of bad parenting or even an abusive household, since weight gain has been linked to trauma and depression. None of the obese kids I knew in school ever made honor role even once. There are tons of other examples I've seen linking obesity to bad parenting. I think one of the best is the Steven Assanti, a morbidly obese ward of the state who appeared on the reality show My 600 Pound Life alongside his morbidly obese brother: Even our obese millionares/billionares usually didn't get that way until they were living on their own. One of the best examples I can think of is Gabe Newell, who I was surprised to learn did not always look huge: I guess my point of all this is that in America it's very easy to fail in life if you don't come from a healthy household (I would know), so I'm not at all surprised to learn that this morbidly obese internet celeb who was living on welfare before becoming famous turned out to have a horrible personality. Steven Assanti, the guy I mentioned above, is a known sociopath and manipulator who spits at his nurses, threatens to kill anyone who doesn't give him food, and constantly lies out his ass on a daily basis. So yeah, not surprising to me. All these are just some of the reasons why I want to move out of this shit hole country.

Many of the kids I knew in school aspired to become famous celebrities. Your High School was very cliché. I also went to an U.S. High School at some point, and I never heard anyone saying that. Most people wanted to be doctors, lawyers, and even school teachers. I also knew a few fat kids that had the highest grades. One even finished his Engineering career in a record time. I actually used to think they were studying so much, and maybe that stress made them over eat. Although to be fair there weren't many fat kids in my school, I feel it is now more common to see that. I don't think we had a single fat girl. Obesity is definitely an epidemic, and I do agree in many ways it is equal to drug abuse, and alcoholism.

I don't think we had a single fat girl. Obesity is definitely an epidemic, and I do agree in many ways it is equal to drug abuse, and alcoholism. I should remind you that I didn't hang out with a very good crowd during most of my school years. I mentioned before that I was extensively involved in plays/musicals during middle school, and while it was a hyperbole for me to say that "many" of them wanted to seriously pursue acting as a career, some of them did, and one of them moved to Hollywood right after high school and auditioned for acting jobs. No joke. Then there were some good-looking popular pricks who would take part in amateur fashion shows hosted by the school, and our yearbook had a section where the most good looking kids all posed in designer clothes as part of the "school fashion" segment of the book, or some BS like that. It was all extremely narcissistic. And finally many of the ghetto/gangster kids wanted to become rappers, and I remember one of them making up lies about how a family friend acting as a talent agent got him into a recording studio and was making records, via posts he made to his Facebook page. I wonder if anyone was actually stupid enough to believe that. My point is that many kids these days are huge narcissists, even the ones who don't actually intend to pursue a career as a performer. So it's easy for me to picture this Boogie guy being that kind of person given the amount of liars and narcissists in society. I can name probably close to a dozen other Youtubers who turned out to be nefarious scumbags, too.

And finally many of the ghetto/gangster kids wanted to become rappers. If you were into acting classes then that makes sense, but most kids don't do theater at school. On top of that I never heard anyone claiming they wanted to be rappers, maybe because we didn't have black kids in the Rhode Island High School I went to, but many kids did like Hip-Hop, and none of them expressed that desire that I can recall. However even though I do believe you that maybe someone expressed interest in that, there is nothing wrong with that. I don't think following a theater career, or a musical career is a narcissistic thing. They are just careers, that's all.

It shouldn't take damning leaks to make people realize Boogie's nice guy schtick was just an act, his scumbaggery is transparent. Never understood the hordes of people who stuck with him even after the surgery debacle. Never trust a "nice guy" and never trust a habitual fencesitter.

I think I saw some of his videos when he won the game awards back in the day out of curiosity. I never liked his content, so it simply didn't click for me. I usually don't judge people about their human morals, but I do judge them about their content, and he just didn't have strong opinions to agree with.
The reason why I like Mark is because he made straight up statements about what he stands for, and for the most part I found that I had the exact same opinions he did, with only a few exceptions, and it is easy to follow someone you agree with, to someone that doesn't stand for nothing.
At least with the guys you know what they stand for you know what they are all about, but there are people that simply haven't made up their mind about anything, and as a consequence they lose charisma.
A big part of charisma is having a stand, in politics for example you can disagree with Bernie Sanders, but you can like the guy, or you can disagree with Ron Paul, but you can still like the guy because they stand for stuff. In the case of Ron Paul I actually agreed with him in many things, so it sucks he didn't win.
That said, having a stand can also go against your charisma when it becomes stubbornness, if you aren't willing to change your mind in the presence of better reasoning, then you are no longer human, so it is not a black and white thing, just like anything in life is. It can easily go both ways.

If he's wealthy then he's in a better position to complain about the wealthy than you, me, or anyone else here on the forum. If I recall correctly he just hates wealthy americans who don't want to pay taxes, not every/any american who's wealthy.

I have never heard of this guy. Have you never seen this video before? He plays a character that he's made called Francis:
That's what made him famous, but he's also played the role of voice of reason, or at least tried to.

Nah, I can't say that I have. I guess I never entered that corner of the internet. Internet drama sure does find strange places though, doesn't it? I guess no one is immune.
