I've recently started to identify as a soy boy. As someone who eats over 5 servings of soy per day on average and is a member of the modern day feminist movement, I feel proudly entitled to label myself as a soy boy. I see absolutely nothing negative about this demographic.
Unfortunately, the entire internet seemingly thinks it's cool to mock vegan pro-feminist men like myself. Why is this? I'll never understand the beef alpha males have with the feminist movement and it's followers. I think it's really immature to start spouting insults out of spite for a progressive movement like feminism.

I've met plenty of feminists IRL and I've never gotten bad vibes from any of them. And no, they weren't spoiled, rich, victimists, or angry rejects. All they really want is less sex in society, women not to be sexualized in the media or treated as sex-objects IRL, and other reasonable stuff like that. If you're the kind of idiot who brags at work about all the chicks you've slept with, then you deserve to be criticized. And that's where feminists come in, because as women they have the right to speak out against that stuff. As a man who has been virgin-shamed throughout much of his life, was raised by sex in the media+internet, etc., I feel like feminists are doing god's work by putting alpha male idiots and fuq-boi trash in their place. |

Not true. I've met plenty of feminists IRL and I've never gotten bad vibes from any of them. They must have been ancient. Their brand of feminism is dead, even obsolete. Everyone believes in equal opportunity and equal pay. Yet, they insist on the existence of the wage gap. Of course, if it existed: 1) This is why we have trade unions: to fight for fairness 2) Nobody would hire men if women were cheaper. Yet, they scrape the bottom of the barrel all they can, just to remain relevant, which they are not. I met a woman who thought women needed gender quotas for jobs. I had to debate it with her, trying to convince her that it wasn't fair on men, as so many people are victims of the "not what you know, but who you know" situation with the job market. She left the writer's group filed a complaint against me to the group we were in, but the group manager just disregarded it. All they really want is less sex in society... Yes, especially the burnt out dead-eggers and career women who've spent their lives climbing the corporate ladder and found that their dating pool has dramatically shrunk. Something they've done to themselves, actually. They're not getting any dick, and they don't want you getting any either, girl! ...women not to be sexualized in the media or treated as sex-objects IRL... They don't want to be sexualised, yet... I know people on the autistic spectrum with more self awareness. Oh, and toxic masculinity? It's not just having feminine qualities that gets you called a "soyboy", it's the lack of certain ideal masculine qualities. Basically they have zero strength of character.
Soyboys love to virtue signal and be passive-aggressive, but typically crumble under any real kind of confrontation. I've always thought it was interchangeable with "nu-male". They're both words that get thrown around too often nowadays, but such is the fate for all new slang terms that end up sticking.

Sure thing mate, I actually think I have already, in Vegas, but long time ago, although they could easily have been from South Africa, or even New Zealand, I can't recall. I had a very solid group of friends from Australia back then, and they were killing it here in the States, they had better game than I. I remember this instance when my buddy was hitting on this Asian chicks, and within seconds he took it out in front of all three girls, and they were cool about it, that's how tight his game was. We used to do a lot of crazy stuff, and they were always fun to hang around, but I have lost touch in the last years. I'm sure they are still hitting it hard. About the feminists, the anti-slut shaming part of it, is the only part I like of feminism. I do think women have the right to be sluts, just like we are. The part of feminism I hate is the part about the whole anti-objectification thing where they censor women, and cover them, and want to take down every sexy commercial, or anything that involves sexy women. That part exists, and it is terrible because they make women feel guilty for displaying their sexuality, and they try to censor any artistic media form involving women being sexy. It sucks because both sides can overlap, and that's the worse because it is just stupid, and they confuse everything in a very stupid way. |
