They must have been ancient. Their brand of feminism is dead, even obsolete. Everyone believes in equal opportunity and equal pay. Yet, they insist on the existence of the wage gap. Of course, if it existed: 1) This is why we have trade unions: to fight for fairness 2) Nobody would hire men if women were cheaper. Yet, they scrape the bottom of the barrel all they can, just to remain relevant, which they are not. I met a woman who thought women needed gender quotas for jobs. I had to debate it with her, trying to convince her that it wasn't fair on men, as so many people are victims of the "not what you know, but who you know" situation with the job market. She left the writer's group filed a complaint against me to the group we were in, but the group manager just disregarded it. Yes, especially the burnt out dead-eggers and career women who've spent their lives climbing the corporate ladder and found that their dating pool has dramatically shrunk. Something they've done to themselves, actually. They're not getting any dick, and they don't want you getting any either, girl! They don't want to be sexualised, yet... I know people on the autistic spectrum with more self awareness. Oh, and toxic masculinity? They enable it and complain when Douchey McDickbag screws them over! stratogustav Just as an experiment, I would like to watch you try and hit it off with some Australian women. I'd be curious to see how well you do. About that last part, who gives a SHIT what celebs think or say. I'm not talking about celebrity feminists. Celebrities are phonies and hypocrites. And actually, of the feminists I've personally known, only 1 was a senior citizen. I've never met anyone who calls themselves a feminist that was right in the head. Once they start calling themselves that, they're becoming obsessed with something.

stratogustav Ah, but what if you were on their own home turf? Would they still accept you or will they tell you to "f^^^ off!", simply because they can?

stratogustav Ah, but what if you were on their own home turf? Would they still accept you or will they tell you to "f^^^ off!", simply because they can? If she tells you to fuck off when you approached her like a normal person, then she is on drugs, drunk out of her mind, or fucked up in the head, so just move on, you don't want that, and you shouldn't be offended. That's like getting offended because a dog barks. It is true that getting girls in party cities like Cabo, Vegas, Ibiza, Miami, Lanzarote, Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, Majorca, Cartagena, Acapulco, Tenerife, etc., is basically cheating because there are no social consequences. They can basically go back home, and no one knows what they did, plus they get encouraged by all their friends that are also doing it. However the person that travels is the same person that was at home, they are just more socially free, and that's the barrier to break, and it is breakable, plus some girls are free everywhere regardless, you just need to find them. People are people. People can get beheaded, or stoned, in some places, but you can still get shot, and stabbed pretty much everywhere, so just be cool about it.

We never actually answered this question, have we?
As I understand, the benefits of soy have been exaggerated. Soy contains phyto-estrogens, which are estrogen like chemicals that occur in some plants. You should not consume so much, especially if you are male. Hormonal imbalances can cause mood swings, infertility, cancer among other things. And you need more testosterone for muscle mass, so a man with more estrogen than testosterone turns into a wimp!
In other words, it's a sometimes-food.
Personally, I would like to recommend MUSHROOMS! Not only are they relatively rich in protein, but they contain more vitamins as well. Also, you should look up a fella called Paul Stamets. He's not only a mycologist, but an environmentalist who believes fungi can save the environment!

Personally, I would like to recommend MUSHROOMS! Absolutely man, when the pandemic started that was one the three foods I recommended the most, onions, garlic, and mushroom. Mushrooms are one of the best things you can eat in general alongside kale, and spinach. Broccoli is OK too, but you need to steam it.

I would be happy to adopt an alternative to soy, but since I only consume soy as a substitute for dairy milk (in the form of SOYMILK), the alternatives aren't very desirable. Almond milk? Almonds require too much water to grow compared to other crops, leading to water shortages. Coconut Milk? Coconuts aren't a local crop & aren't sustainable compared to many other crops because they displace tropical forests. Cashew Milk? Again, not a local crop so its not very sustainable. There are other, more desirable alternatives to soy milk, like pecan milk, but they are more expensive and not always as readily available at my local grocery stores. I like soy milk well enough because it tastes good and, more importantly, is widely cultivated in North America, making it a sustainable food overall. The downsides to soy consumption only affect my body so it's not a deal breaker for me.

I forgot to mention two alternatives to soy milk that ARE both sustainable and readily available where I live: rice milk and oat milk. I actually switched from soy milk to oat milk recently and am very comfortable with my decision so far, even if it does cost a bit more.

Oat milk isn't that bad actually, however, I don't drink milk in general so I never buy any types of milk. My roommate drank a lot of it though.

It shows a complete lack of self respect if you’re ok with damaging your body. You should doing things a consuming things that build your body up, not break it down. I really think you, and really everyone, needs to get your ass into the gym. Build some strength. Build your body. Build your self respect.

I really think you, and really everyone, needs to get your ass into the gym. Build some strength. Build your body. Build your self respect. In my defense, even though I had been drinking soymilk regularly since 2012 I was unaware of the negative side-effects of soy until Centipede brought it up in this thread, so don't blame me. With that said, I still strongly support the soy industry for its utility in cooking, mainly soybean oil, which is one of the most sustainable known alternatives to palm oil right now (at least for americans). A very useful ingredient! And lifting? Cobretti, I'll have you know that I did in fact regularly weightlift at one point in my life during my freshmen & sophmore year of high school, because I thought it would help deter the bullying. You want to know why it didn't do anything for me? It's because I'm undersized (only 5'10'') and all of my abusers were jocks/alpha males who were far taller than me and were in much better standing with the school for their far superior academic & athletic performance than me. The problem isn't that I'm not buff or not lifting enough. The real problem is the toxic school communities and the toxic masculinity/alpha male culture that is blighting America right now (and has been for several decades). If teachers actually gave a shit about disadvantaged students, then there wouldn't be so much trauma and school shootings going on. But the reality is that the majority of school teachers in America were once jock douchebags bullies who went on to get college degrees in teaching at the expense of their unfortunate victims in school. It's a destructive, ongoing cycle.

It's a destructive, ongoing cycle. I would say now is a great time to give lifting another go. Most people at any gym I’ve ever been to don’t give a shit about what others are doing because they’re too busy lifting, unless your texting and lollygagging and hogging equipment. And if anyone gives you shit in the gym, throw a 10 pound dumbbell at them. I see people at my gym who range from bodybuilders to obese people, and no one bothers anyone. Also, consider taking Jiu Jitsu classes. It’s sometime I’m planning on getting into once a China virus vaccine hits. Think about it, if you know you can break someone’s arm if you need to, there is no situation you can’t handle. BTW 5’10 is a perfectly average size for a male to be. I see some total shrimps out there that get jacked.
