Apparently there is going to be a new release for the Wii and the Wii U. The Wii version of Shakedown: Hawaii will be released on July 9th for $29.99 in Europe only. (Why isn't the game priced in Euros?) Nintendo of Europe was the only region to approve it officially. For the rest of us, there will be a Wii U version out in August. ( Armored Core Raven, this one is for you!)The Wii version is compatible with every controller, to include the GameCube controller. The Wii U version will also utilize the tablet (unlike stupid Batman: Origins) and every other controller available. For those of you that don't know, this game is a sequel to Retro City Rampage, which is very similar to the overhead style of the original GTA games. (I used to play the original GTA multiplayer using LAN lines while ditching high school pep rallies in high school. ( scipioafricanus, did you ever join us before or after school? I can't recall...) That game was a lot of fun.
Anyways, I think I'll be picking up a Wii U version. (The price of the Wii game makes me think that the Wii U game will be fair as well. If not, I'll pass.) If any of our European friends pick up the Wii copy, I'd like to hear about how it runs!

A Wii U new release, it's crazy how that sounds wild considering the console is relatively new, but that's how significant that console was in our hearts for the amazing games, and times it gave us, that we celebrate anything from it.
