Oh man, this is a great question. I do not remember most of the shovelware games I have played, because I never bought them. The Wii era had a lot, but I don't remember them being horrible. When I was a kid, the IBM XT/AT era had a ton of garbage one screen platformers that made the 2600 shovelware look like masterpieces. I remember one called Janitor Joe, where the sprites moved, but there wasn't any animation. The platforming absolutely sucked.
Great, now I have to search for a copy and play it again.

Junior Board Games on the PS2. Getting games for Christmas from relatives was uncommon, but why the hell did they buy that one instead of something that more closely resembles a game. It has three board, one of which, Chutes and Ladders, can't even ve considered a game since it's 100% luck based and as much fun as flipping a coin a hundred times. The other two games on it were Ludo and Battleships, both of which are common as dirt in board games.

Shadow of Ganymede - boring as heck schmup. Crazy Chicken - just shoot chickens for a few minutes on only one level.
Atari 2600 had a hell of a lot of shovelware, didn't it?

Yeah, that's definitely a good question, but a very hard question. I would say probably Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I consider that game shovelware because I remember disliking it so much that it is the only game I deleted after playing it for some time despite the hours it took me to download it.

That's not really shovelware though. You can dislike a game, but Mankind Divided wasn't a low budget game that tried to sell by having an interesting cover or title.

You are right, my bad, that's how it felt to me.
How about Motor Racer 4 on PSVR? That game is trash, but maybe the game is just bad.
At this point I can't distinguish bad games from shovelware anymore.
Also I can mention that HoloBall was kind of lame, Rollercoaster Dreams, VR Karts, NBA 2KVR, now that I think about it PSVR has a lot of shovelware in general.
I could easily keep naming a lot of bad stuff on the platform, but I guess the good games truly compensate for all those bad ones.

I hope for one day when the term 'Shovelware' is remembered exclusively as a line of high quality, Shovel Knight branded fashion

I bought a rare ds shovelware title called girls only. It's so rare that there is not a single review for it on GameStop's website nor is there hardly any YouTube videos of it. The only YouTube video's of it are one review of the game and a trailer for the game itself. I do plan to test out if it works or not but I see no reason why it shouldn't. Other then that I have no intention of actually playing the game as it would demoralize my ds having to play that trash.

I think you should take the chance with such a rare game and make a full playthrough of it on Youtube, open a fan wikia and shower it with rave reviews on Metacritic and Gamefaqs. As for myself, I can't think of many shovelware games that I own... We should count Criticom (Saturn), maybe, it's the shittiest 3d fighting game released in the high of Tekken/Virtua Fighter/DOA successes. I also have something called Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior (PC), that I got for free with the Shadow Warrior reboot and it's a game about cleaning the mess made in the main game's levels. Only the premise seems funny, the game itself is part of a shovelware "joke" series (like Goat Simulator and the like) that took a brief ride on Shadow Warrior's fame with this spin-off. On Steam, the only other shovelware I see in my library is Not The Name We Wanted (it was called "Not GTA V" before), which is... a not very well programmed Snake game that is a satire on British politicians, though I do have to say that I had much more fun with it than with GTA V itself, so I don't think it counts. If I remember well, this one was a gift from centipede, hahahaha! Thanks, mate. Man, I loved when Steam didn't make so hard for us to give these dumb, simple gifts, nowadays it's almost impossible to gift friends from different countries because of regional pricing.

So, you gather up girls on this Wipeout course, you dodge obstacles then you kick a guy really far
And then there's this:
