I'm a Maytag/Whirlpool kind of guy. What did you get? I got a Whirlpool, it has been working well. I also got a Samsung AC for my room, and an orthopedic large bed as well. |

As a surprise gift, I bought my son this:  Needless to say, but he was EXTREMELY excited, and his nose has been glued somewhere in the 496 page hardcover guidebook for the last few hours. I was so excited to see this too, because strategy guides are such a rarity these days. It is really nice! |

I've recently bought Berserk, volumes 1-41 (every volume written by Kentaro Miura until his death) + the one-off story Gigantomachia, also by Miura. I had just finished reading Claymore, which is awesome from begining to end, and wanted to finally get into Berserk.
Also manga-related, last month I bought as one of the presents for my wife's birthday Magic Knight Rayearth (six volumes). She was a huge fan of the anime when she was a kid but had never read the manga, she definitely appreciated the gift.
