To keep the Halloween spirit alive, I started Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia yesterday!
I'm liking it a lot. I think I prefer it having various explorable levels instead of being just one big map. The platforming is tight and the combat is surprisingly tough - I died a lot, so it's certainly different from the breeze that previous games in the series were. But what impresses me the most is the visual quality of everything: this has some really good 2d animation. The art style is much more attractive than the "standard" anime style from the Sorrow games and looks closer to the Ayami Kojima's illustrations for SotN.

I liked order of Ecclesia, though I found having to change weapon load-outs frequently in the late-game got fairly annoying. Reminded me of Vagrant Story a bit in that respect.
(Dawn of Sorrow had the more anime/manga-character designs, but Aria of Sorrow's was similar to Ecclesia.)
Usually the Fatal Frame games are my choice of horror-themed games for October, but I'm actually caught up this year. I'm on my second playthrough of Tales of Xillia at the moment (played Milla's story first, so now playing through Jude's story), and about 22 of 27 chapters through Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. Also, I picked up Yoshi's Woolly World recently and have been playing through that with my roommate intermittently.

Finished Tales of Xillia 2 on the PS3.
I've now switched gears, and have started up Disgaea D2 on the PS3, and Yoshi's Woolly World on the Wii U.
Still working my way through the Revelation campaign in Fire Emblem Fates.

I'll go through an "unfinished business" marathon these next few weeks: I finished Order of Ecclesia (I'm glad I played it, it's a really great game), so today I go back to finish Okamiden, and after that my Ninja Gaiden 2 Mentor playthrough, Tomb Raider 5 and Thief.

Half Life 2: Episode 2 on Xbox. What a great game! But such a contrast to other sci-fi FPS classics like Halo CE.
It's a shame that we'll have to wait for Half Life 3 to resolve all of the mysteries raised in HL1&2, and I have a feeling that 3 is not going to come out for a looooong time. I wonder if Valve even has the story written yet.

Finally platinum'd Bayonetta. After a weird journey of hating the game, hating it even more with subsequent playthroughs, then finally getting around to liking the game. Great game!

Armored Core Raven Ah yes. I got Burnout Legends on the PSP. And if Bonanza Bros. had co-op, I'd be asking if I could co-op with you.

Still playing it, actually! I'm trying to platinum all the stages to unlock Jeanne! Oh man, I still haven't done that - I think I only platinum'd through 3 or 4 stages. I have to complete it sometime. Have you fought through the survival mode? It gets brutal later on, I haven't finished it.

Haven't had time for it, really. I'll definitely attempt to finish it soon. I finished DMC4 Nero's Bloody Palace, can't get any tougher than that, and my hands gets cramps after the session!
