Your least favorite country of each continent?

Yeah, we suck!  We are even exporting our suckage now: do you remember the cliché of US criminals running away to South America? We are finally reversing it (Bolsonaro and some of his criminal partners ran away to Miami). EDIT: You guys can also thank us for George Santos! You're welcome to keep these guys in the US as much as you want.

Creepy. We've had this problem in Wisconsin, too. There have been many accounts of Nazi soldiers moving here after WW2, but to my knowledge all of them have been caught and sent back to jail. Personally I can't stand German nationalists. I live near some very wealthy german nationalists and their nationalism makes me sick.

Anyway, I digress. Hopefully things will get better for Brazil now that Lula is in charge. I don't understand why Biden hasn't detained Bolsonaro yet. He's wanted by the ICC for christ's sake.

Since I just commented on american xenophobia in another thread, I figure one thing I must mention about american and german nationalists is that they both share an intense, xenophobic hatred of anything asian, especially Japanese. This joke on KOTH was perfect:




The majority of american conservatives refuse to buy anything japanese, including cars. Good luck trying to convince these guys that the japanese make better cars than the americans or the germans do. Oh, some of them HATE anime, too. I've actually met a family of german nationalists and once when we talked about the subject of children's animation, the mother outright denounced anime several times, claiming its "inferiority" to western animation, even though I never even brought it up! Weird. These people are so freaking weird.

And that's not all. Back when Pokemon fever hit its peak in the late 90s, the american Christian Coalition (yes, that's a real organization) released a public statement condemning Pokemon for promoting the theory of evolution. I'm not kidding! One of their public statements decrying Pokemon was included in a Twin galaxy article I read a while back. I can't recite it word for word, but it's out there. The conservative christian zealots who run these groups are fucking NUTJOBS! Maybe one of these days I'll copy/paste their PSA for the forum to see. 

American and german nationalists are the most perplexing pigs I've ever known. Considering that Germany and the US are both in the top 3 when it comes to the list of the biggest economies on Earth, I think it's safe to say that money is one of the driving factors behind their xenophobic insanity and mental corruption.

MY HONORABLE MENTIONS:

(in no order)

-Argentina. A country with a long reputation of german nationalism, Nazi refugees, and far-right fascist dictators like Jorge Rafael Videla.

-North Korea. The single scariest country on Earth. No one in their right mind wants to live there, everybody hates it, nobody benefits from it. I had a nightmare a few nights ago where I snuck into North Korea at night to browse their propaganda literature but before I could sneak back out of their borders unseen, the sun rose, and as everybody woke up, they caught me and I was publicly executed by firing squad. You could argue that america created modern day North Korea during from our actions in the Korean War, but regardless of who's to blame for North Korea, I sure as hell loathe the Kim Regime. I wish North Korea would just dissolve so that I could stop having nightmares.

-Russia, specifically modern-day Russia. Before Stalin came to power, Russia was an amazing country. But now after the parabola of soviet communism, Russia has once again sunk to another low thanks in no small part to the Putin regime and modern-day Russian nationalists, all of whom are financially motivated barbarian bastards who have ruined their country's identity through warfare. True, there are at least some rightous Russian rebels like Alexie Navalny who want to end russian corruption and war, but these individuals are powerless to the Putin regime and have been repressed by force, so they do not represent the Russian majority. But just the fact that there are at least some prominent progressive russians is enough to keep russia off my list of most hated countries by continent.

-Canada. Canada is a country with a long history of mass deforestation, environmental violations, far-right politics, redneck culture, and climate change denial. Justin Trudeau has helped to mend the country's regressive global image, but nevertheless Canada remains a warzone of far-right politics, toxic masculinity, machismo lumberjacks and redneck truckers, all of whom seek to destroy the planet as we know it.

-All western European countries. Yeah, countries like the UK, France, Norway, Spain, etc. are more progressive than the USA, but so what? Most countries are. The reality is that all of the western European countries that everybody loves putting on a pedestal are grossly overrated shitholes blighted by bad atrocious booze culture. Everybody loves raving about how "peaceful" these countries are. Well, let me tell you, there's nothing more aggressive than a surly drunk, and all these shitholes are run by surly drunks. I like the eastern European countries like Greece, Hungry, Romania, Bulgaria, Malta, etc. but all the western ones can go fuck off.

-Luxembourg. I somehow forgot to list Luxembourg in my honorable mentions. In a nutshell, Luxembourg sucks because it's the Eurotrash capital of the world, filled to the brim with (and, not surprisingly, run by) nothing but alcoholic socialites and super-emitting Eurotrash scum. I personally consider Luxembourg the worst of the western European countries and the second worst country in Europe behind Germany.


In the end, if I had to choose a country that I wish I had been born in, I wouldn't choose ANY of the above countries, but rather I would choose a more peaceful, progressive, underrated country like Iceland, Greenland, New Zealand, or India. Or, possibly one of those eastern European countries like Romania, Hungry, Greece, etc. All these countries are cool in my book.

Every country has its social and economic issues, so you're not going to be happy, wherever you go.
