Is that a Dune reference? That's a cat in a sock. Yes it is a scary sand worm which obeys my command, for I am (if only in my own mind) the KWISATZ HADERACH!!

Well there is a huge sand worm in Dune and there is some talk about spice.

I bought the David Lynch version of Dune for a buck at a yard sale last year. Still haven't watched it. Is it any good?

The cat picture I posted, it references a classic science fiction epic by director David Lynch called Dune which is based on an equally epic series of books by author Frank Herbert.

I prefer older movies to modern ones and Dune is one of my all-time favorites, what have I said that gave you an impression otherwise?

This is how I arrange it: LaserDisc > 3D Blu Ray > Blu Ray > DVD > Streaming (only legal stuff) > Television > Never do digital

No one owns a 3d Blu-Ray player, but companies like Disney still release them with their box sets.

licensedgames now I feel like a complete dork because I have at least 2 3D Blu-Ray players, a 3D TV, a 3D headset (HMZ-T1), and a Full-HD 3D projector. I guess I simply love some gimmicks, and 3D is just one of them. Honestly nothing beats playing Shadow Of The Colossus in 3D on a 135 inch projector screen with a decent sound bar, it feels like you can just walk into that world. It sounds more expensive than it actually is, you can find a decent 3D 1080p projector for $600.

Dune was released on LaserDisc and if I had a LaserDisc player this and Bladerunner are definitely the first two movies I'd get.
