Our house was burglarized once and I walked in on the guy as he was about to begin loading up my game collection. Since then, I started keeping up with my stuff on classicgameroom.com. I thought it would help with any insurance claim I ever had to make. But then it ended up being so much fun to do, and I realize now I'm really gonna miss it.
Since the site's about to go down, I'm looking for somewhere else I can manage my collection. Anyone have a suggestion? I'd very much appreciate it.

In addition to uploading my items to the CGR vault page with the pictures, I tend to post them to Facebook under albums with console headings. If sharing that information with Facebook friends concerns you, you can always set the albums to private. You can always share them here in a pickup thread if such a thing exists. I'm actually going to share them on the review thread whenever I post a review.

Retro Collect is the first that comes to mind, but I've seen others that I can't remember right now.

As far as pictures of my collection, I do that on my Facebook page. I also use a site called Backloggery to keep track of what I'm playing, have played, and beaten. There's no pictures on that site however.

I just started using RF generation. It's good but it goes too in-depth with every single regional version so you end up analyzing every PS2 game you own to figure out if it is the Aus/NZ version or just the UK version or some European version. If you live in the states it's fantastic though.

Rejoice! For the site has returned (for now). Face it, our's is the best - There can be no substitute.
But for how long will it stay, who knows... All the more reason to appreciate it while it's here!

It's a good thing we have Stratogustav to save us then!
But it's the Spacevaults's that's important!
Someone add something new already...

What did you do to the guy who broke in? I heard the commotion of him running out the back as I opened the front door. Had to have jumped the back fence. I called the cops and waited because his car was parked in front of the house. A few minutes later, he comes walking up to his car like nothing happened. I walked right up to him and asked if he was the guy who just ran out the back of my house. He denied it and said he saw some kids running up around the corner. I went with it, trying to stall him until the cops came. No luck though. He got into his car and drove off when he realized what I was doing. Whatever. The cops didn't show for another 30 minutes anyhow. They never even arrested the guy. He got away with a broken laptop, my 5-year-old daughter's piggy bank and a handful of my wife's jewelry. Mostly worthless except for her wedding ring. He had staged a bunch of boxes I use to keep games and was carrying my Xbox One when I walked in. He left it on the floor when he ran out. Looking back, I wish I'd just pummeled the guy. The cops couldn't have cared less. Shoulda handled my own business instead of leaving it to them.

I realize 3 months have passed since the last post, but I'm guessing that the Space Vault is gone again?
Also, does anyone ever worry that someone may try to burglarize them BECAUSE they are sharing all their game information online?

Man, I really wish I had that picture of Super Turrican 2 I took right now. Was there any warning given on the old forums that the Space Vault would be gone? I was not around for a few months toward the end of 2015 and I had read in passing elsewhere that the videos were going to end. I did not realize at the time that EVERYTHING was going to end and by bye-bye.

Just thought I'd bump this up. I've been trying LaunchBox recently (http://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/) and it seems to do nicely for games collections. It seems to also be meant to be a hub launcher for emulators, but I haven't used it as such yet.
There doesn't seem to be any options in the online database for peripherals, but if you're running their program locally, you can set up your own various categories. For example, I've added various categories for Virtual Console on my Wii, Wii U and 3DS to differentiate them from games on the original systems.
