Damn, that sucks. I wonder if public transportation in any other part of South America is any better? On a separate note, Japan seems to be one of the few first world countries that really does public transportation right. It's a darn shame that they constantly need to rebuild their rails/subways because of all the earthquakes they experience. I remember hearing about how their railways were totally wrecked back in 2011 when the big earthquake hit. Really sucks. The US, Australia and probably many of the eastern parts of South America wouldn't have this problem if rails were installed. centipede Yeah I've heard that some of the major cities in Northern Australia (like Darwin) have very high rates of alcohol consumption, which is worrisome. I wonder if there even are any countries that don't allow alcohol. For a utopia to exist, there couldn't be any alcohol. But I do think Mark sets a bad example for kids, whether he intends to or not. Become Muslim and move to Qatar or Saudi-Arabia or some place like that. They don't allow Muslims to buy alcohol at least. (source, I lived in Qatar a year). Lol, no way. Those countries have other problems that even the States don't have. I would feel less safe living there, believe it or not. But you've been to Qatar? That's so cool! Why were you there? And what did you think of it?

And what did you think of it? My dad works at Hydro, a aluminum factory in Norway which sent workers down to Qatar to supervise and train the new factory workers down there while they built the factory. So a lot of Norwegians moved down there for a year or two. It's a pretty cool country with a lot of beautiful scenery and architecture, but they still haven't figured out that race hierarchy isn't a thing anymore. So people from India/Nepal are pretty much on the lowest end while white people and Arabians in general are in the top tier. Pretty cool country, but the racism is pretty bad.

I don't think you understand 50 degrees and 100% humidity. It's absolutely horrible. Nobody stays outside at summer when it's like that. Everyone goes inside where there are air conditions in every room.

Wait, are you saying it's humid there? I thought Qatar was in a desert setting?

Wait, are you saying it's humid there? I thought Qatar was in a desert setting? When a country is warm, the humidity also goes up. But it almost never rains. In all of my stay there were 2 days of rain. Here in Norway for example it might be very cold and low humidity when it's not raining or snowing. And yes Qatar is mostly desert, don't get me wrong on the humidity part. Sometimes it's very humid and sometimes not at all.
