Wait so it was a Raspberry Pi all along? Why didn't you listen to Guilion ? It's an "orange pi." Whatever that means. It means it's an overpriced Pi with a crappy OS that hangs when you update it.

AND the verdict is... scam! For once that beta Ian from the CU podcast is right about something. Gaming rags like kotaku needs to stop giving these shitty retro consoles press. They turn out either to be, at best, total fucking garbage and, at worst, scams.

They turn out either to be, at best, total fucking garbage and, at worst, scams. They're the same people that perpetuated the myth that ET for the 2600 was an ultra rare game because millions were buried in secret. At least AVGN got a movie script out of it. IMO it's better to just set up an emulator frontend on PC

IMO it's better to just set up an emulator frontend on PC I got an arcade cabinet that ran a hyperspin front end until the rickety computer running the thing took a dump. I agree. Just get the cheapest PC you can get your hands on and mame it up.
