This game is so fun. I still play it from time to time. The only thing that I dislike is that you lose all of your power-ups when you die, which means you sometimes get stuck on a difficult part.

Truxton is one of those games that I discovered through CGR which has become one of my favourite shooters of all time.
It's very impressive of how the Genesis game is incredibly close to its Arcade counterpart.

I wonder how much CGR has affected the value of this game because last time I checked it was still expensive.

I'm in a few other classic game forums on social media, and I've talked about CGR there. CGR has fallen into the internet ether as of late. Some people remember it fondly, but I don't get much of a response when I bring it up. Perhaps it gained popularity, and now the price is based off of its own merits now.
I find the pricing of games to be fascinating, because demand is so fickle in the world of the internet.

CGR may of effected the price on the game once upon a time, But Shooters on the Genesis have gone up in price in general. But CGR did bring a lot of these games onto the map, especially MUSHA and possibly Thunder Force. Most people including myself didn't know of these games before CGR.

Well, I bought Truxton because of him. Musha too, although that was a reproduction.

The Japanese version with the awesome cover art. i also had the figurine which broke and now I regret throwing away because it's probably extremely rare now.

So, is this a reproduction cart? I didn't know these guys released retro games as well as new ones.
