I consider this game just like the Capcom Vs. SNK games a King Of Fighters game despite not having King Of Fighters on the title.
Like he mentioned on the review, The King Of Fighters games, and by the way not only Maximum Impact 2, but all King Of Fighters are already crossover games with characters ranging from all kinds of SNK series.
I mean Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe is supposedly Mortal Kombat 8, that was a full crossover game and it was the first one in while in the Mortal Kombat series for Dan Forden to have a come back in the development team, so now it is cannon.
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum shares all the amazing arcade gameplay characteristics that make SNK fighters even until this day some of the most enjoyable in the industry.
