As many of you familiar with the "classic" CGR website know, one of the best interactive features of the site was that we each had the opportunity to create, share and respond to reviews whether short text reviews, full written reviews or video reviews. We were also able to create vault pages with personalized item descriptions and pictures as well as verify our ownership via verification cards. While I find these features irreplaceable, I thought it would be a good idea to open up a thread where we could share reviews for games or game related items we find relevant to us. What approach you take to reviewing -- whether text or video or if you just want to share feedback on other's reviews -- is entirely up to you and while you're at it, feel free to share images of the games or gameplay and throw in your CGR ID card while you're at it!
Dependent on the outcome of this thread, we may want to consider opening up review categories for the different console manufacturer sub headings but I thought this could prove a good way to kick off the new forums. I have nothing new to review at the moment, but I did want to share a memory of the classic forums:Cheers everybody and remember, CGR4life! teddykongcountry

This is a good idea Teddy. I moved the thread to this category, but I can move it back if you want to. This category is for all CGR reviews. Feel free to post any reviews here as we did before.

Actually, I think we should have a separate boards for reviews for Nintendo, Sega, Sony, etc. just as they already have Discussion boards.
The old site was so jam packed, are we ever going to link every single review on here?

Ok, so we're allowed to fill reviews in any category according to the system it's played on and we use this section for misc reviews such as memorabilia and games from obscure consoles and computers like the BBC Micro and the Amstrad GX4000?
Did I get it correctly?

I'm not sure if I'm late to this, but I think we should have a review board, and maybe use this topic for linking like centipede suggested, because if we place reviews by manufacturer we'll get this situation of having games released on every system having their reviews scattered throughout Playstation and PC boards, skipping Nintendo or Xbox ones. So, I think that we could have a system of: if someone has an idea for a review, do a write up and create a new thread with the text in it; then whoever thinks of another review for the same game just add to that thread.
