Finished up the Android version of Dragon Quest III. Now I am done with Alefgard until I get around to Dragon Quest Builders at some point.
Man, I had fun, but I am glad most JRPGs are not that grindy any more...and I realize that the android version was significantly less grindy than the original.

Did a quick playthrough of Evoland in 3.5 hours. Cute little tour through the history of RPGs and adventure games. Any longer would have been tedious though. Evoland II does look interesting though.

What were you playing FF VIII on? PS3 I still have my PC copy somewhere around here. I doubt I could play it on Windows 10 though. I absolutely love the music in the end of that game. I should give it a play through again one of these days. |

Finished up Arkham Knight. Pretty solid. I remember people complaining about the Batmobile years ago, but I liked it for the most part. A good ending to the Arkham series.

I couldn't bother finishing up all the sidequests so i moved on lol Many of us tend to like to do everything in games, I have that issue with many Nintendo games, but sometimes it is better to avoid sidequests, and often that leads to enjoying a game more, and seeing it through the end. |

I understand that, but the riddler challenges in arkham knight were a slog I got the platinum trophy for arkham asylum and city lol |

Finished up Steamworld Dig 2 on the Switch. I liked the first one, but this was a solid improvement in all areas, and a fine Metroidvania. Once I got the grapple gun, it was great fun zipping all over the place.

Finished up the story mode on Dragon Quest Builders for the PS4. I'm not much of a fan of Minecraft or the games that derived from it, but the story mode is genuinely very enjoyable here. I may mess around for a bit with the "Terra Incognita" free-play mode, but I don't think it will hold my attention for long

Last night, I finished R-Type Tactics on the PSP. It sure got tricky towards the end, where the enemy was getting the drop on me with warp ships and sacrificing its own units to kill mine.

I played that not too long after release and remember liking it. I think I beat it but don't 100% remember for sure. I recently saw that there is a fan translation for 2, might give that a try. |
