That's a decent summary, Cervantes

I beat the last boss with my third character on Torchlight last night. It helps when can summon zombies to distract him while you power attack his rear.

Finished up the story mode in River City Girls. This was a fun take on the Kunio-kun/River City series. Great sprite work, fun writing and voice acting, and the combat remained interesting to me up until the end. Highly recommended

I live very close to WayForward. They have very solid games.

Finished a replay of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War
This was the PS4 version that was included with some versions of Ace Combat 7. It is a pretty minimal remaster of AC5, but still nice to play levels in widescreen, and with higher res textures. Still probably my favourite Ace Combate game.

I had no idea it was on PS4, this is great news, I love all those games. I have Ace Combat 7, and it didn't come with it for me, so hopefully I can find it separately.

It is a bit of a hassle to get it these days. The North American Deluxe edition of AC7 doesn't include it, but the European one does. (I'm guessing it is some licensing issue with the aircraft designs in AC5).
So for someone not in Europe like myself, I had to create a UK PSN account on my PS5, then I just waited for the AC7 Deluxe edition to go on sale. I think it was about 14 British pounds. Once it was downloaded, I could play it on my primary ID.

Super Robot Wars T on the Switch. I really liked the game but after 54 chapters, I'm glad it's over.

I don't have an European account right now, just Japanese and Hong Kong, plus the American one, it may be useful to great an European one for these things. It sucks because I already bought AC7 when it came out, but it may be worth it getting it again on a sale just for AC5 through an European account. Thanks for the information.

AC5 was included in the US release of 7 but only as a preorder bonus, which unfortunately I didn't get. I figured they would sell it separately later on but nope.
Same thing with DBZ Super Butoden for the Switch, it was a preorder bonus for Fighterz. It seems if Namco Bandai offers an old game as a preorder bonus they really won't sell it later.

It sucks I missed on those. I would had liked them, but for some reason I recall seeing AC5 on a PSN sale before, but maybe I was just dreaming. It sucks in particular because I bought AC7 pretty much at launch if I recall correctly, so pre-ordering would have been an easy investment to make of I was going to get the game anyway. I remember I was really looking forward to it because of the VR content, and I wasn't disappointed at all, it really delivered on the VR side, although I wish the whole game was on VR, which wasn't the case, it's only a few separate levels, but those are totally worth it.

Donkey Kong Country 2. I'll review it in the proper thread, but I do want to mention that I did not enjoy it here. I know I may annoy some people, so I'll apologize ahead of time.

Yeah, I'm the same way with the Donkey Kong Country games that I am with The Sonic The Hedgehog games.
I can see why people say the sequels are more polished and have more game variants because of the secondary characters, but at least for me personally I prefer the solo experience of the first ones.

Finished up The Mummy Demastered for the PS4 (on PS5).
Good, short little Metroidvania. Interesting death mechanics. It was fun, though I doubt I will revisit it. I will listen to the soundtrack again though, as it is very good.
