This movie is pretty shit. I was tempted to give it 1 star, but I'm saving that score for when a really, REALLY bad movie gets suggested. I remember wanting to see this movie as a kid since it was based around a video game. Even as a middle school-er I thought it was disappointing. Would not recommend this for any audience. If you want a shitty movie there's better alternatives, if you want a good movie there's plenty better ones. This one is unlucky and falls underwhelmingly in neither of those categories of being so bad it's good and actually good. 2/5 @dan E. Kool pls ban this guy^ anyway, cmon dude, it wasn't that bad, i'd argue it wasn't even bad by any standards. It's just boring and underwhelming. |

I admit horror movies aren't my favorite genre, mostly because it's riddled with mediocre crap and cliques. But there are some excellent ones like Texas Chain Saw Massacre (my favorite), The Shining, The Thing (1982), Alien (if you count it as horror), It Follows (a modern horror movie that isn't crap). I haven't seen the original Friday the 13th, but I've unfortunately watched the remake. |
