Top Gun 2 confirmed?! Cult classic "Top Gun" could be getting a reboot. While touring for his upcoming film "The Mummy," the movie's star, Tom Cruise, told the hosts of Australian TV show "Sunrise" that a sequel is "definitely happening," and that filming could start "probably in the next year." |

Whoa whoa whoa... "cult classic?" I wouldn't call the quintessential 80's movie for plebs a "cult classic". Evil Dead II is a cult classic. Frankenhooker is a cult classic. Not Top Gun. |

If they make a sequel I hope they nail the soundtrack again. The first one has some of the best tracks.

If they make a sequel I hope they nail the soundtrack again. The first one has some of the best tracks. Apparently the movie is in the can, so I'm supposing that the soundtrack is ready as well. I wonder if they are going to focus on nostalgic music, modern music, or a mix of the two. |
