Thanks for the suggestion but: 1: Always Blu-Ray or LaserDisc, never DVD unless it's never been released on any other medium. 2: Shipping from Amazon to Norway isn't cheap. I try to avoid buying anything there unless I can't get it in Norway. 3: Blu-Rays are generally cheaper over here (that's a first). I have this on my buy list, and I'm going to get back to this thread once I've seen it.

John Carpenter knows his shit. This is a seriously badass movie, and can you guys believe I only got to watch it last year? Also, best fight scene ever. The movie is so quotable, has such a great handle of the things it's satirizing, has such a great mix of horror, action and comedy tropes that it grabs your attention entirely.
Any Carpenter movie chosen here will make me happy.
