spidershinobi that SMT4 soundtrack is very good, makes me want to play the game, though im still going through SMT Strange Journey It's very rare to see something updated without losing part of what made it what it is. That soundtrack is incredible for bringing back all those sounds from the first Shin Megami Tensei in a completely updated form and still managing to capture the essence of the old one while sounding even more cyberpunk than before. This is one of those situations in which a whole product definitely can't live up to a part of it, so don't feel bad for not being able to go straight for it. Btw, to this day people keep praising Strange Journey. |

I don't think numbers even fit most series which do use numbers. At first the story was a continuation, so ok, SMT2, but then if... wasn't numbered (could've been 1.5), Nocturne was numbered and it didn't make sense - I don't even think "Shin" fits there - and now there's 4, and that one got a sequel that can't be numbered 4 2 because of how stupid that sounds.
