I love how much the (generally very bored) audience cheered at the Gears of War logo then went completely silent when the "Funko Pop" style characters appeared and it was announced as Gears of War Pop or something. Then they show Gears 5 and it looks like the most generic thing I've ever seen.
My opinion until now: From Software's game interests me a lot (looks *almost* like a Ninja Gaiden game, I guess). Not really interested in any of the others - though I can see myself getting interested in DmC 5 once I see more of it; though, again, I'm not much of a fan of the series...
EDIT: Not really an announcement, as we've known about it for some time now, but CD Projekt Red is still making Cyberpunk 2077 (still no gameplay trailer, sadly). I'm eager to see what they can do outside of The Witcher.

Have paid absolutely zero attention to E3 so far outside of the DMC5 trailer. Am I the only one who think's Dante's facial expression at the end there looks like Max Payne's?

Glad Sam Lake found something to do. Favorite part of the Xbox conference was Todd. How much did he lie? I'm guessing it was all lies.

I'm not excited for Sony's conference anymore. As far as I'm concerned they can cancel it if they please.
Dead Or Alive 6, Devil May Cry 5, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Doom Eternal, and Wolfenstein Cyberpilot are already much more than I was hoping from this E3.
Unless Sony drops something like Resident Evil 2 Remake or a brand new Mortal Kombat game, I could care less for that conference.
And that comes from someone that doesn't even have a Xbox console, and instead owns a PS4 Pro with a PlayStation VR.
Spider-Man looks cool, but other than that I was never interested in the other 3 of Sony's so called "big 4" games, maybe Death Stranding, but I doubt that game will come out any time soon.
I'm really digging the Ready Player One vibes of Cyberpunk 2077, but I'm not sold yet, I would have to see more. Bethesda brand new IP Starfield was only a few seconds on, and it literally impacted much more.
I'm going to be embracing the super nerd power by playing Skyrim on PlayStation VR, so knowing there will be a sequel sounds very cool to me, if it comes on VR that is.

stratogustav - The best thing about Cyberpunk's trailer is a hidden message at its last screen. It has a few points by the developers detailing the game; some of the highlights point to it keeping the same philosophy of no microtransactions, free and sizeable expansions and DRM free on pc as The Witcher 3: This is increasingly rare these days: a proper AAA single player game (no online mode tacked on) that comes in a full package. I hope the gameplay holds up. Sony usually has a few surprises up its sleeve, so I wouldn't dismiss them completely. Maybe they announce a completely new series, I don't know. What I'm still expecting for this year is more information on Bayonetta 3, possibly a formal announcement of REmake 2 and a gameplay trailer of Death Stranding. Also, can I still be hopeful that Team Ninja will still announce a new Ninja Gaiden out of nowhere? I know they would have announced it by now, but one can always believe.

Watched Microsoft's conference today. It wasn't groundbreaking, but I thought the line-up was solid. From Software's game looked really cool (definitely Ninja Gaiden vibes like Cervantes said). Cool that a Battletoad game is being made, Cyberpunk looks amazing (the universe at least), it's right up my alley. Gears of War 5... eh... I like to see another Gears game, but I still haven't played Judgment or 4 yet. Maybe because they've stopped revolving them around Marcus Fenix. So now they're focusing on some random woman. Seems like the focus of the series has gone off track. Spirit Bomb, I wasn't amazed by Halo Infinite. Halo 5 drove the series to the ground for me and all of my friends except one.

That Square Enix conference felt pretty short, but they did a lot of trailers too.
I hope Lara gets to have a sexual relationship with that big fat black dude in the new game, he deserves it at this point after following her into all those crazy places she likes to go.
I also hope the new game gets more punishing deaths for Lara, the first game had a ton, but they almost dissapeared on Rise Of The Tomb Raider.
Rise Of The Tomb Raider is excellent, but it was definitely missing those crude ways to die for Lara that made the first game to stand out. The voice acting in those games is very good too, you can really hear her suffering and all, it's pretty cool.
PlatinumGames is releasing a brand new game for PS4 and Steam called Babylon's Fall, the music, theme, and imagery presented are extremely cool, but it is still unclear how it plays, we'll have to wait and see.

The trailer they showed for it yesterday impressed me because it looked like they got really good at modeling the female posterior which I found to be quite pleasing.

Is it my impression, or Vitual/Augmented Reality followed the way of motion controls this year? Microsoft didn't even mention their Hololens (they made a huge deal about it in the past) and I haven't seen any announcements on the VR front. Bethesda apparently mentioned two VR spin-offs to Prey and Wolfenstein, but with no footage, and that's it.
Maybe Sony will still push their VR googles somehow?
EDIT: I had already seen trailers for the new Tomb Raider, and it seems they're still pushing it as "The Arkham games, but with bow and arrows". I prefer my Lara as an dauntless explorer dual wielding her guns and going full psycho at the natural life instead of this "stealthy fearful survivor" version of her, but I'm sure the game will be ok - most people will like it, I'll have the same complaints I had on "Rise of the TB" but will play it to completion anyway.

VR is a very small market. On PlayStation, 2 million units have been sold out of the 70 million consoles. Oculus and HTC have about the same numbers.
The answer is simple, those are very expensive headsets the big majority of people can't afford. Until Premium VR becomes affordable people won't be able to appreciate the tech.
Think of Google Cardboard and Samsung Gear, those are fairly cheap and that's why they have a much larger base, but on those you can barely play stuff your phone runs, and even that looks crappy.
For a real experience you need to have at least 1K for the headset, accessories, and software, not to mention the PS4 Pro or a super solid video card on your PC.
VR barely passed the Magnavox Odyssey territory and entered the 2600 lands around the end of 2016. Wait unti the NES hits and you'll see this tech is here to stay.
By the way, they announced Yakuza 0 for PC and is like 18 bucks, people will be happy with all the mods and whatnot.
I will be getting Tetris Effect and Wolfenstein Cyberpilot on VR. The new Elder Scrolls game will be playable on VR as well, and it will be free, so that is cool as well.
All the conferences have been great. The only thing that could save Sony at this point are the licensed games and hopefully a fighting game announcement. That would be cool.

stratogustav - I do agree; while I think VR won't replace traditional screens, I do think it will become much more common once we get smaller/lighter headsets, especially if they also become wireless. The technology in itself is impressive. I'm just surprised there was barely any talk about it this year. Maybe once those more practical and affordable googles become available, then publishers/developers will bring them at the center again. Right now, it surely became a somewhat niche thing for gaming. In other news... HOLY CRAP, have they announced Yakuza 0 and Kiwami on PC??? AND VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 4??? EDIT: They are already listed on Steam! I've already put all of them on my wishlist, which is huge right now.

It is hard to describe, but VR is not quite niche per se, it is just not affordable. It is actually the opposite, and it is hitting mainstream hard. The latest Steven Spielberg movie, Ready Player One, was all about VR. When it comes to gaming, the studio behind Rogue Nation, Terminator Genisys, World War Z, and Star Trek Into Darkness recently dropped a brand new mech game called Archangel on the PSN. That's an entire Hollywood studio starting to do VR games out of nowhere. We are getting Zone Of The Enders again on PS4 because of VR. Yesterday, Todd from Bethesda mentioned how the new Elder Scrolls game will be available on all VR platforms. We just saw a few hours ago Elijah Wood on stage at Ubisoft's conference presenting his brand new VR game called Transference. VR is just going up. People just can't quite afford it yet.
