Zen Pinball 2 is one of my favorite games ever to the point that I had been collecting all their tables for years. The physics are super solid and considering they are mostly licensed tables, there is a lot of fun to be had with them. Now the game is available on Virtual Reality under the name Pinball FX2 VR for PlayStation VR. It finally unifies the names for the series. It was Zen Pinball for PlayStation and Pinball FX for Xbox before. Without even knowing the game was going to come out for Virtual Reality I previously modded my arcade stick with two extra buttons on the side to simulate the pinball arcade experience. That is a type of mod no one really does. In fact I may be the only one with one, but considering how much I love the virtual tables and taking advantage of my extra long arcade stick I placed the extra Sanwa buttons there with only Zen Pinball 2 in mind. To my surprise it came out perfectly, and when virtual reality pinball was finally here the experience became even better. When used on virtual reality, you can't see the fightstick at all, you can only feel the buttons, and personally I have to say the experience feels just like the real deal, infinite times more realistic than playing with a pad. I highly recommend it. I wanted to share these images I took of my Japanese friend Motoki playing Zen Pinball 2 aka Pinball FX2 with my modded arcade stick, so you have an idea how this looks. The experience is definitely unmatchable. I'm very satisfied with the results.

This is really cool. Does your arcade stick rumble when you play the game?

This is really cool. Does your arcade stick rumble when you play the game? No, it doesn't. I was looking into it before, and it is definitely doable, I just have'nt done it yet. I had been considering it for quite some time. Still though, it does feel very real, the visual and audio cues trick your mind like crazy. You completely forget that you are using an arcade stick without even trying. You have to remember that the fightstick is real, so in your brain you do feel you are actually touching and hitting the table you are playing.
