I love the Sonic Mega Collection Plus, we even got two copies, my brother still keeps them. I also didn't know OutRun 2006 was on the PS2, I only knew of the 360 version. Is Rally Championship by Sega? I always wanted that EyeToy game. WRC Rally Evolved sounds good too. Do you have a wheel for the PS2? |

I have a wheel for PS2 but it's in storage, I haven't used it in well over a decade, I prefer a standard Sony Dual Shock 2 any day. I already had Sonic Gems and Mega Drive Collection on PS2 but they lack some of the Sonic games so it's nice to have the Sonic Mega Collection Plus now. OutRun 2006 is great on PS2, that was the first version I played on a demo disc that came with a PlayStation Magazine I got from my gf at the time back in 2006, I also have it on PSP and PC, though I've never played the PC version as I've never had a powerful enough PC for it. I used composite video cables with my PSP 3000 model to record footage of the PSP version of OutRun 2006 a few years back and put on youtube. About a 360 version, I'm assuming you mean OutRun Online Arcade? That was based on Coast 2 Coast but scaled down to fit the small size of Xbox Arcade downloadable titles at the time, so a lot of content from Coast 2 Coast was removed, they later removed the entire game from both PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010 and 2011 because Sega's Ferrari license expired. Rally Championship is not by Sega, it's developed by Warthog, same developer that made Star Trek Invasion for PlayStation, Battlestar Galactica for PS2 and Xbox and the multiplatform Richard Burns Rally, and later became part of Traveller's Tales as TT Fusion that makes the portable version of the Lego games these days. I recently bought the GameCube version of Rally Championship as well, it's strange as I've been looking for both versions for the last 15 years and now within less than a month apart I find both versions! I haven't played the Astro Zoo EyeToy game, I've heard it's the worst of the original EyeToy Play series but since I haven't played it I can't yet say if I agree with that or not. |

Nice footage. The PSP ran games very good. If you didn't tell me it was a PSP I would think that's running through a console.
I didn't know the 7th gen versions of the games were watered down, I always though those were the most complete version. I never got to see the PS3 version online, I even thought it was a 360 exclusive.
About wheels for the PS2 I never had one. I remember playing Gran Turismo 3 & 4 with a controller and actually enjoying them. I got spoiled with the wheels when I got a G27 for my PS3 back in the day, and now is hard to go back to controllers. This is why I feel I'm missing out this gen. I don't have one for my PS4 yet.
I bought one recently but it was one of those cheap ones they sell at Target. I gave it back because against those I would agree controllers are better.
In fact some people perform better with controllers, @lukefonfabre89 is an example of that, he is good in racing games just with the controller. I also rememeber I used to drift so more better on Gran Turismo 3 with just the controller than I ever did with a wheel on Gran Turismo 5. I also think third person racing is always better with a controller, specially kart racing.
WR4 is good, it is not as good as something like Dirt 3, but it is still pretty decent.
The Saint Seiya games are your typical arena fighters and I feel that just like Tekken and PES, they keep getting better. The last one, Soldier's Soul, is one I really enjoy.

It's a nice one indeed, I've wanted WipEout collectibles since I played the first games back in the 90s, finally they are beginning to understand, now we just need them to release the ENTIRE collection from ALL the games! Shadowfall was the last game in the Killzone series I didn't have. |
