Saw a copy of Pariah at a local shop for $7 and picked it up. Playing through it now, I've gotta say it's honestly one of the best looking original Xbox games that I've played, and runs surprisingly smoothly. The graphics in Far Cry Instincts give me a headache by comparison.

Spirit Bomb Pariah is one of my favorites on Xbox. There is a multiplayer focused arena-style successor called WarPath, also on Xbox, if you're into games like Quake III Arena/Revolution and the Unreal Tournament/Championship series you should check it out.

I thought I remember you saying a while back that you don't like Far Cry 2? I already have the 360 version of Far Cry 2 so that's not why I bought this. I didn't have Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and it was on sale cheap as this double pack, so a second copy of Far Cry 2 was just a bonus in this case. And I have mixed feelings about Far Cry 2; I like some things about it and I dislike others. |
