I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. I haven't seen it, so I can't say much, but I avoid Nic Cage movies. Because he's not good. Cage is one of those actors who makes me scratch my head and wonder how he got such a good agent. Like Jessica Alba... but at least she's pretty. There's no reason Nicolas Cage should be in so many movies. So much talent out there and yet we keep seeing the same losers over and over. Makes me wonder. The trailer is bad. The movie looks bad. Balder should be ashamed of himself. Cage is pretty much terrible in everything, but trust me, this is great. What's it all about? What's the good stuff that the trailer leaves out?

Just watch it and tell me what you think. Nobody can tell you what a Lynch film is, you have to see it. They don't always make sense, but carry symbolism and imagery, which is often more important than the message they're carrying. That's how Lynch often make scenes. He sees an imagery before he makes sense of it. That rigth there is very hard to translate into a 2 minute trailer.
