I can never figure out if Wiseau honestly tried to make a good movie and is now playing it off as a joke after seeing it's reception, or if he was actually joking around the whole time. That guy is quite an enigma to me.  NOT THE INTENTIONS! NOT THE INTENTIONS! |

Finally got to watch this. Bought it on Blu-Ray from the man himself from his website. It only took 8 months to arrive, and that's no joke. It literally took 8 months. Watched it with a couple of friends last night:
"The most infamous movie ever made. Before I watched this, I had already seen all of the greatest scenes from it on YouTube, so it was not that surprising of a movie. However there were some things that were surprising. Like the extremely long and graphic sex scenes and how the plot stops developing after the first 15 minutes. The Room is such a fun experience to watch, but honestly, had it been a little bit longer, I do not think it would have achieved its legendary status. The middle of the movie is so slow, it basically stops completely and just shows the same scenes we have seen over and over again. I can only watch so many re-cut sex scenes, so many times Lisa's mother telling Lisa how great Johnny is, so many times Mark trying not to bang Lisa and then bangs her, so many times Denny trying to cuckold Johnny etc. What never gets old though is Tommy Wiseau's acting. He is a sight to behold, and that awful laugh he makes made both of my friends spit out their drinks laughing. Great experience." 0.5/5, but as it's the most camp movie ever made, a 5/5 on this site.
