I was somewhat interested in their BttF, as it seemed more like a classic P&C. I'll look for some gameplay videos; if it's anything like The Walking Dead, then it's not for me either.

For these kind of games a photo realistic engine is kind of expected. It doesn't has to be that advance, something like Resident Evil VII, or Metal Gear Solid V would do the job. Their engine sucks and it looks like shit. Also they could learn from Until Dawn, anyone can learn from Until Dawn, that is QTE done right.

For these kind of games a photo realistic engine is kind of expected. It doesn't has to be that advance, something like Resident Evil VII, or Metal Gear Solid V would do the job. Their engine sucks and it looks like shit. Also they could learn from Until Dawn, anyone can learn from Until Dawn, that is QTE done right. I don't think they ever tried to go for photorealistic game graphics. They're games, especially The Walking Dead, is made out to look like a comic book. Since TWD is one. If that is the idea behind it, it is not very convincing. I guess I'm just not a fan of how they look, I have the same issue with Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite. It is like they tried to do something like that and failed. I love style over realism, that is me, but it has be well done. |

I've just replayed episode 4, and I encountered a glitch where Kenny, my favorite character apart from Lee and Clementine, won't help no matter what your previous choices have been. And I've sided with Kenny 90 % of the time, only to have my ending yanked away from me by a glitch. This is so fucking bullshit! I will now retract my previous score and give it a 2/5 for being frustrating and boring. Fucking piece of shit game.

Just replayed episode 5. That is the absolute best episode of any Telltale game. I might have been tempted to give it a 5 if every episodes were like that. It doesn't drag on, has meaningful choices, no boring puzzles and is so fucking rewarding after going through the other episodes.

The only reason they don't fix their stuff is because they keep getting rewarded with people buying their games as they are. They don't feel the need to make a change.
