A movie that knows exactly what it is and what it wants to do. Very funny since it goes all out. Too bad it is very very short, only 30 minutes. 4/5

I was going to give it a 4, but I just watched it again for the first time since it came out and I was so entertained, so impressed by the whole effort, I'm giving this a 5. Like Balder said, it knows what it's doing and it nails it. The fact it's only half an hour doesn't bother me, either. Maybe they could have stretched it out to 45 minutes, but the fast pace is part of the fun for me. I hope they make another and give the Hoff a bigger role.

The only thing I remember not liking was the viking part. I didn't find it that funny.

The only thing I remember not liking was the viking part. I didn't find it that funny. That's how I remembered it, too, but watching it again, I thought it was fine. "That explains the laser raptor!" I think with the 80s setting they had, an antagonist other than Hitler could have made more sense. Maybe the Soviets or some terrorists, idk. But then you miss out on the Kung Fuhrer joke, so...

What did you guys see in the movie? I just watched the trailer, and I don't know. It's fun, it breaks film rules, you can turn off your brain to just thoroughly enjoy yourself and watch this entertaining piece of film.

I gave it just an 3-OK. Mostly because it is so short and some jokes don't work as well as others (agree with Balder that the Viking part is a weak point). But, considering its extremely low budget roots, it's well made. In this 80s/90s action movies pastiche genre, I'll stay with Turbo Kid.

Because the creators set out to make it "bad" in a good way. So really this is just good, not bad. The Room on the other hand is a true example of a a so-bad-it's-good film since the creator Tommy Wiseau, actually think it's legit great.

By the way, I thought Kung Fury worked better in the trailer than when they got to do the full movie. I was not disappointed at the movie, mind you, but I preferred the more compact joke in the trailer than the actual film.
It's still good, though. And it came around the time we also got Far Cry: Blood Dragon, so it was very apt.
