I remember suggesting this like a year ago. It is cool it's finally here. What can I say both PlayStation and Sega Saturn versions are great. I wish I had it, but I don't. It is a really cool game. This is not a Capcom game, but it is as good as anything Capcom released at the time. I say this because I guess it is easy to confuse it as part of the excellent 1942, 1943, 1944, etc., series.
Trivia: This is one of the many games that were used to form some of our post count rank names for the forum.

I remember playing Part III in Japan at an arcade. It was really cool, yet sadly, I sucked when compared to the Japanese guys who would dominate (and hog) the machines.

I played some Saturn last week and played my go to game DonPachi. After getting tired of continuing after console countless deaths, I loaded up Strikers 1945, a game I got together in a big Saturn collection I bought a whole year ago. I knew it was quite expensive, but for some reason I hadn't played it yet. But hot damn if that isn't my favorite space shooter now! It's so easy to get into while still being incredibly challenging. Love it so much that I'm contemplating in getting it for my Neo-Geo too.

Did they let you record the arcades? I was stationed there in 2002, so flip phones were just becoming a thing in Japan. I don't think anyone was recording back then.

This game is historically inaccurate lol. Pretty standard schmup. I have it for PS2 and it DOESN'T have analog control! Why?!

DonPachi, 1945, Neo-Geo, it doesn't get better than that. This game is historically inaccurate lol. Pretty standard schmup. I have it for PS2 and it DOESN'T have analog control! Why?! You are supposed to play it with an arcade stick. Arcade sticks are set to d-pads by default. I was stationed there in 2002, so flip phones were just becoming a thing in Japan I don't think anyone was recording back then. Oh I remember those Razer phones. Yeah, no go there, people was using analog stuff still. What mattets is that you were there.
