Supposedly the best crime themed video game franchise outside GTA. (Mafia, Sleeping Dogs eat your hearts out)Also the natural evolution of what started with the Shenmue games. Never played any of the Yakuzas myself, although I did play Shenmue 2... The Hokuto ga Gotoku (Fist of the North Star ala Yakuza) version seems more up my alley however. If I'm gonna start, it'll be there. |

The dude behind Yakuza is the same guy behind Super Monkey Ball, Daytona USA, Ollie King, and F-Zero GX, so I expect nothing less than stellar design from his games.  |

Played 2 1/2 hours into Zero. Not quite my cup of tea but the story/writing was great. If you have a knack for 3rd person beat em ups, Yakuza is definitely for you.

Dewd... This topic together with the Shenmue re-release announcement are really pushing me to give Zero a go now. But if I start to get into it only 0,1,2 and 6 will be available on PS4... Have to go back to PS3 for teh rest of the story in 3-5...  |
