The original is a great film. I haven't seen it in years, so I guess I'll have to find it on demand for a refresher. It is too bad the series turned into dog crap. I couldn't stomach the Russian one. I think that was unofficially #7? They also had a kids cartoon which was utter dog shit too. I really wish Hollywood would leave good films alone. They should have stuck to the R rating and kept the humor going.

The first one is really great. I remember watching them all on TV as a kid. And as others have stated, the series died down the line. I'll give it a 4/5 out of memory, but I should definitely rewatch it.

Police Academy rules. My personal #3 favorite cop movie of all time (after Cobra and Beverly Hills Cop). Certainly the best movie about antics of all time. No movie tops Police Academy’s antics. The finest performance of the Gutt’s career. Kim Cattrall was smoking. Michael Winslow was awesome. Tackleberry was one of my favorite secondary character’s of all time.

The second one is my favorite. I love Zed, dude's character was hilarious as a kid. He is like a parody of 80s heavy metal fans, and 80s heavy metal rules.
I also love the guy with the sound effects. I forgot his name. Everything he made was pure genius comedy. The entire thing is pure genius comedy.
