Great movie, many lackluster games, too bad the sequel was also very lackluster, though at least it got a decent game right away, didn't have to wait 20 years like the original did until Tron 2.0 Killer App came out.

I mean, I know he prefers this stuff, but I never knew that he wouldn't give a film a perfect rating without having at least one of those elements. |

"Finally got around to watch this. It is definitely iconic in every sense of the word. There is nothing quite like it. You just need one look and you instantly what you are watching. It does not even matter that the visual effects are horrendously outdated. It only adds to its style. And style is the correct word, because this movie is all style but no substance. That is where my main gripe with this movie lays. It is almost incomprehensible. Accepting this weird universe is one thing, but the story is so weird too. Like there something I just do not get. Still, there are some awesome scenes like the lightcycle race. That is pretty rad, I must say. Worth watching for its status and place in film history, but it is not a very good movie." 2.5/5 I wish I liked it more because it's a cool movie for sure.

Haven't seen it, but I know modt people don't care for it. I have a hard time thinking it's as good as this movie since Legacy isn't exactly groundbreaking in any way. |
